Ram Pukar Singh ‘Pukar Ghazipuri’ has given a new dimension to the *ghazal* form by connecting it to contemporary contexts, while demonstrating a profound commitment to social concerns. Pukar Ghazipuri is a capable and brilliant creative writer who remains highly conscious of his language and mode of expression. His language is that of everyday speech, occasionally incorporating Urdu terms—which serve to clarify meaning rather than hinder it. This has enhanced the aesthetic quality of his craft. His *ghazals* are free from unnecessary intellectual burden; instead, they possess a natural ease, simplicity, and clarity.
